Prospective areas of growth

Parents and Toddlers Group

At the moment our Parents and Toddlers Group is fast asleep, but we are looking for parents to help it wake up gently.

In the past we have had a Toddlers Group on a Monday morning. Natural craft materials are provided for making seasonal decorations and simple toys. We then would have a healthy snack together, and finish the morning with singing and rhymes and sometimes a little puppet play.

The School Class Group

Between 2011 and 2014 a small group of children whose families wished them to continue at Mulberry Tree became our first class group. The Mulberry Tree was registered as an Independent School. The small group of children firstly had a beautiful fire engine which was converted into a classroom and then the class group moved in to the meeting room of the Scout Head Quarters behind the Village Hall. When the group was no longer viable the decision was made to withdraw from Independent School status in 2015. We are constantly reviewing our vision for the future. It is simply amazing what a small cluster of parents with the same need for Waldorf education can achieve. We believe our next steps involve more parents with lots of children, commitment and a vision. If you have heaps of enthusiasm to be creative, and would like to help us develop a new small sustainable school (or make a donation) we would love you to visit.
